Blessed With Strength Within

بَرَكة

i am blessed with

the mountain’s solidity
and the lilie’s softness,
the lightning’s strength
and the tranquil sea’s sabr.

I am blessed with

the moon’s noor
and the forest’s modesty,
the desert’s silence
and the rain’s rahma.

i am blessed.

to have been made
of only a handful clay
and yet –
possess
all of His creation’s strengths.
