Chapter #14: Blessings

Chapter #14: Blessings

Written by: Barah

“And God has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful.” [Sahih International][16:78]

A list of blessings we forget are blessings. God gave us our hearing, vision, and intellect and at any point in time he could take them right back. We never remember to be thankful for these blessings because we assume we have the right to have them, when in reality, we don’t. Remember there are people in this world who lack these blessings. We need to remember to be thankful for them, and to take care of them so we don’t lose them.

Alhamdulillah for what God has given us, for what he has blessed us with from the small things to the big things.
