Chapter #25: Hereafter

Written by: Barah

“Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter – We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world – We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share.”[Sahih International][42:20]

Doing more for our hereafter is so important. God is giving us His word that He will give us what we worked for. And if we worked for our hereafter he will give us more than what we bargained for, because he is Al-Kareem, the most generous! And if we only did things for our dunya (worldly life) than we will also get what we worked for, but that’s it; no share of it will be taken to the hereafter.

This verse is such a great motivation for us to do more for our hereafter instead of doing it for this dunya, when it’s so short. We leave with nothing from it but our good deeds done for the next life, the hereafter.
