Never Ending

Never Ending

Written by: Khadeja

Grief never ends.

That’s because the griever is still living, and the world is still turning. Seasons change and so do people.

Every day is a new day for the griever, with every opportunity gained it is a reminder that the deceased was not there to witness it.

Every milestone regardless of its magnitude is always lacking. Because of the absence of the loved one.

Every memory has one unfinished seam that when tugged on in sadness unravels its entirety and such loses its glimmer.

The thought of upcoming life events is tinted gray, because how can it be in full color?

Grief never ends…because the griever lives on.
