Seeking peace

I’ve been thinking about peace recently.

It’s one of those things that we have all probably felt, but only as fleeting moments through life.

Peace doesn’t seem to belong here in this dunya – it, like us, only appears to have a temporary existence.

For those of us who have been blessed to feel its effect – maybe this was purely so we crave its impact so deeply that we begin to chase its eternal existence.

You see, peace is a portion of Paradise. To desire peace, we are in actuality, craving Paradise.
