Inner and Outer Change
There is something so painful about remaining stagnant. The inability to move forward in life can be debilitating, and as a result, it can be depressing. It starts off great, because you are motivated to do the next big thing in your life. You want to take on the world with all of your positive thoughts, but life holds you back. A lot of the time, it is because there are circumstances that are holding you back. You have commitments that prevent you from exploring life through a different perspective. It becomes draining to think of what you aspire to do, because you cannot take the next step forward.
As much as life can be unfair, it can also be quite fair. While the opportunity for outer change is not always in your hands, the ability to make an inner change always will be within your reach. You might not be able to change the world in front of you at your desire. You might not be able to do the next big thing the moment you aspire to, but you can change the world within you. Sometimes it just so happens that something has to change inside of you in order for you to move forward in your life. It could be that this goal you have in mind is not possible unless you strengthen your heart, and purify your mind. God knows, and you know not. While there is something so painful about remaining at a standstill, this does not always have to be the case. You have been given a mind that you can beautifully shape through reflection and knowledge. While your next big move might not be now, it will eventually come. And when it does, it will come at the right time for your heart, your soul, and your mind. God’s timing is always perfect, even if you cannot always see it. Your blessings and your opportunities are always timed to reach you. This is not when you want them, but when God knows you need them.
