Chapter #27: All Forgiving

“Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.”[Sahih International][53:32]

A beautiful but also brutal reminder! God reminds us that He is all forgiving; that if you do your best to avoid sins–especially the major ones–then He will forgive the small ones! But at the same time, He’s telling us not to claim purity because as humans we are known to make mistakes and no one is free of sins. God knows your intentions and your heart, for He is all knowing! He knows exactly what you’ve done and why…and from that He will chose to take whatever actions He sees fit.

This verse is a great reminder to us that, no matter what we do in this life, without God’s forgiveness no one could ever make it to paradise. Humans constantly sin and without a forgiving God…paradise would be impossible.

We should be thankful that our God is so forgiving. ❤️
