For the one who loves,
Written by: Nadrah
They tell you to love hard. Fiercely. Passionately.
But let me tell you this, passion can be too wild, too fierce, too – messy.
Passion directs what the heart and soul failed to translate.
Passion negates the very intention and purpose of love.
It takes you off course. It paints you an illusion.
It hands you a bouquet of flowers, in return for a displaced emotion.
It makes you in love, with the idea of being in love.
But not just be –
love instead, sincerely. Mercifully. Purely.
Even if you feel like you are not going anywhere.
Love anyway.
Love for Him.
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Allah, the Exalted, has said: ‘For those who love one another for the sake of My Glory, there will be seats of light (on the Day of Resurrection), and they will be envied by the Prophets and martyrs”.
