Sometimes you enter a phase of life where things are ‘alright’…they aren’t bad, but they also aren’t exceptional. During times like these it is very easy to fall into the trap of seeking to find something that will turn your life towards one of the two extremes. Perhaps your boss made one small remark but by the time you are finished picking at it, you are convinced your unemployment is eminent. Or your marriage is going through a rough patch, but you question it to the degree that you wonder whether or not you both form a compatible couple.

Life is a tapestry of colors and textures…as we mis-handle it along the way a few threads are bound to come loose. It is only with constant picking that tapestry in its entirety will unravel.
