You’re never too old

You’re never too old

Written by: Ali

Aging is a biological process that we all go through but being too old or inability is a social construct that has no inherent basis.

In Islam, you’re never too old. The older you get the better you are at refining yourself, acquiring new strengths, and embracing new opportunities. You don’t withdraw, you engage with life even more.

Khuzaimah (r) stopped caring for his garden and said:

‎أنا شيخٌ كبير أموت غدا

I’m too old, I’ll die tomorrow

Umar (r) heard and commanded him to care for the plants again, to the extent that he kneeled and helped him begin.

You’re never too old to work towards your goals–however small they may be.
